A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION COMMENDING C.E. CRAFT UPON HIS RETIREMENT FROM THE MCCOMB SCHOOL DISTRICT.

     WHEREAS, at the end of the 2003-2004 school year, C.E. Craft, having served the McComb School District with honor and distinction, will retire after 42 years of service; and

     WHEREAS, his employment experience has included teaching, teacher supervision, curriculum direction and staff development, and he is presently involved in the student testing process; and

     WHEREAS, students and teachers in both the McComb School District and statewide have benefited from his teaching experience and his creative methods of curriculum development and such development has brought honor and distinction to the McComb School District; and

     WHEREAS, it is the policy of this Legislature to commend excellence especially when evidenced by such outstanding educational providers as Mr. Craft, who have dedicated so many years of their lives to developing and cultivating the minds and bodies of the many young Mississippians with whom they have come in contact during their illustrious careers:

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, THE SENATE CONCURRING THEREIN, That we do hereby commend C.E. Craft upon his retirement from the McComb School District on June 1, 2004.

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to C.E. Craft and to the members of the Capital Press Corps.
