AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF OXFORD, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE ANNUALLY TO THE OXFORD-LAFAYETTE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION FOR THE 2004 CALENDAR YEAR; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Oxford, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute annually to the Oxford-Lafayette County Economic Development Foundation, out of any available municipal funds, an amount not to exceed Fifty-five Thousand Dollars ($55,000.00) during the 2004 calendar year.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
