AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE INSTITUTE OF COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC. (ICS), ALSO KNOWN AS HEAD START, FOR THE PURPOSE OF ASSISTING IN THE PURCHASE OF A SCHOOL BUS FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF ICS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Oktibbeha County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute funds, out of any available funds of the county, to the Institute of Community Services, Inc. (ICS), also known as Head Start, for the purpose of assisting in the purchase of a school bus for the use and the benefit of the disadvantaged preschoolers attending ICS's Oktibbeha County facility.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
