AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HARRISON COUNTY TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS, IN AMOUNTS NOT EXCEEDING $5,000.00 FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2004, TO THE GULF COAST SEARCH AND RESCUE, INC., FOR THE PURPOSE OF ASSISTING IN EDUCATION AND PURCHASING EQUIPMENT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute funds, out of any available funds of the county, in amounts not exceeding Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) for calendar year 2004, to the Gulf Coast Search and Rescue, Inc., for the purpose of assisting in education and purchasing equipment.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
