House Bill 1812

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF AMORY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE MONROE COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The governing authorities of the City of Amory, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute funds in an amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) during the 2005 fiscal year, out of any available funds of the city, to the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce and/or its successors.     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
