AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF LONG BEACH, MISSISSIPPI, TO DONATE, LEASE OR OTHERWISE CONVEY CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONSTRUCTING AND MAINTAINING CERTAIN RECREATIONAL FACILITIES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The governing authorities of the City of Long Beach, Mississippi, in their discretion, may donate, lease or otherwise convey certain real property located in the city on or near Daugherty Road to Harrison County, Mississippi, for the purposes of constructing and maintaining recreational facilities, including, but not limited to, ball fields, concession stands, dugouts, roads for ingress and egress, utility service lines and equipment and irrigation systems.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
