AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE ANNUALLY TO THE OXFORD-LAFAYETTE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION FOR THE NEXT FOUR COUNTY FISCAL YEARS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Lafayette County, Mississippi, may contribute annually to the Oxford-Lafayette County Economic Development Foundation, out of any available municipal funds, an amount not to exceed One Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($125,000.00) in each of the following fiscal years: the fiscal year ending September 30, 2005, the fiscal year ending September 30, 2006, the fiscal year ending September 30, 2007, and the fiscal year ending September 30, 2008.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
