AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF NOXUBEE COUNTY TO CONTRIBUTE COUNTY FUNDS DURING CALENDAR YEAR 2004 TO THE INSTITUTE FOR COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC., FOR THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING A SCHOOL BUS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Noxubee County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute an amount not to exceed Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00) during calendar year2004, from any available funds of the county, to the Institute for Community Services, Inc., doing business as Head Start, for the purpose of purchasing a school bus.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
