AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TUNICA COUNTY TO PROVIDE FUNDING, PERSONNEL, SUPPORT AND SERVICES TO THE TUNICA COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Tunica County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may provide funding to the Tunica County Economic Development Foundation, Inc. (foundation), in the amount and upon the terms that the board of supervisors deems in the best interest of the county.  The board of supervisors, in its discretion, may also provide support to the foundation, which may include providing personnel, equipment and other support and services.  Such support may be given if the board of supervisors deems it appropriate and in the best interest of the citizens of Tunica County, Mississippi.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall stand repealed from and after July 1, 2007.

     SECTION 3.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
