AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TUNICA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE MID-STATE OPPORTUNITY, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Tunica County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contract with and/or contribute up to Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) of funding to Mid-State Opportunity, Incorporated, in fiscal year 2004 and up to Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) of funding in fiscal year 2005 in connection with Mid-State Opportunity, Incorporated, operating various programs in and for Tunica, Mississippi.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
