AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CLAY COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE LOCAL BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB;  TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF WEST POINT, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE LOCAL BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Clay County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute up to a maximum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) during the 2004 calendar year, out of any available funds of the county, to the local Boys and Girls Club.    

     SECTION 2.  The governing authorities of the City of West Point, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute up to a maximum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) during the 2004 calendar year, out of any available funds of the city, to the local Boys and Girls Club.

     SECTION 3.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
