AMENDMENT No. 1 PROPOSED TO

                             Senate Bill NO. 2430

                             By Senator(s) Little

     AMEND by inserting the following after line 23 and renumber subsequent sections accordingly:

     SECTION *.  (1)  That portion of Mississippi Highway 25 North that contains the turn lane for traffic to Yellow Creek Port in Tishomingo County is designated and shall be known as "Martha Segars Road".

     (2)  The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.

     Further amend line 5 of the title by placing the following after the semicolon:

TO DESIGNATE A PORTION OF MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 25 IN TISHOMINGO COUNTY AS "MARTHA SEGARS ROAD";
