AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL PROGRAM; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Lafayette County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute funds in an amount not to exceed One Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($1,250.00) during the 2003 calendar year, out of any available funds of the county, to the Keep America Beautiful program to develop plans and programs to reduce litter in Lafayette County.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
