House Resolution 51

A RESOLUTION COMMENDING REPRESENTATIVE TOM CAMERON FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.

     WHEREAS, Representative Tom Cameron has served the citizens of House District 52, which includes Washington, Issaquena and Sharkey Counties for more than 10 years; and

     WHEREAS, Representative Cameron, a resident of Greenville, graduated from Mississippi State University, where he received his bachelor's degree; and

     WHEREAS, because of his strong leadership abilities, Representative Cameron was appointed as Vice Chairman of the Labor Committee; and

     WHEREAS, Representative Cameron currently serves on the Conservation and Water Resources, Public Health and Welfare, Transportation and Ways and Means Committees; and

     WHEREAS, Representative Cameron's friendly nature and dedication to serve have had a positive influence on all those who have had the pleasure of working with this highly respected member of the House:

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby commend and express our deepest appreciation to Representative Tom Cameron for his contributions to the legislative process and the people of the State of Mississippi and extend our heartiest wishes for success in all his future endeavors.

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to Representative Tom Cameron and to the members of the Capitol Press Corps.
