AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF OCEAN SPRINGS, MISSISSIPPI, TO MAINTAIN AND REPAIR ANY PUBLIC OR PRIVATE NONPROFIT CEMETERY LOCATED WITHIN THE MUNICIPALITY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, may, in their discretion, maintain and repair any public or private nonprofit cemetery located within the municipality. The expenses of such maintenance and repair may be paid from any available funds of the municipality.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
