AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF VICKSBURG, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO UNITED WAY OF WEST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Vicksburg, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute funds in an amount not to exceed one-half (1/2) mill during the 2004 fiscal year, out of any available funds of the city, to United Way of West Central Mississippi for social and community services.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
