AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF HATTIESBURG TO DONATE A SUM OF MONEY TO THE SOUTH MISSISSIPPI CHILDREN'S CENTER; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute up to Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) during the calendar year 2003, from any available funds of the city, such sums as it deems appropriate to the South Mississippi Children's Center, to assist with the programs.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
