AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE ANY STATE DEPARTMENT OR AGENCY TO MAKE DONATIONS TO THE AMERICAN RED CROSS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Any state department or agency in this state is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to donate annually, from any funds available to the department or agency that are not obligated for another purposes, a sum not exceeding One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) to support the American Red Cross.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2003.
