     AMEND on line 295 by adding the following after the period:

Only one (1) award of punitive damages may be recovered in a court in this state from a defendant for any act or omission regardless of the number of causes of action which may arise from such act or omission except in the case of a defendant who, subsequent to the entry of a judgment imposing liability for an act or omission, persists in the same or similar conduct thereby giving rise to additional causes of action.
