AMENDMENT No. 2 TO AMENDMENT No. 1 PROPOSED TO

                             House Bill NO. 446

                             By Senator(s) Gordon

     AMEND by striking lines 146 through 161.

     AMEND line 189 by striking "Through November 30, 2002, there" and insert in lieu thereof "There"

     AMEND by striking lines 191 through 196 and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

     (2)  For the purposes of appointment and election, the two (2) judgeships shall be separate and distinct and denominated for purposes of appointment and election only as "Place One" and "Place Two."

     FURTHER, AMEND the title to conform.
