AMENDMENT No. 1 PROPOSED TO

                             House Bill NO. 1781

                             By Representative(s) Morris

     AMEND by inserting the following new paragraph between lines 37 and 38:

     "None of the funds appropriated by Section 1 of this act may be expended by the Mississippi Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board until the board has adopted and implemented a rule or regulation providing that applicants for a license as a licensed real estate appraiser who have successfully completed the educational requirements and passed the examination will receive a license and be able to practice as a real estate appraiser without having to obtain a minimum number of hours of appraisal experience before taking the examination or before licensure.
