AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO HARVEY ELLIS WILLIAMS OF WASHINGTON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI:

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The right of suffrage is hereby full and completely restored to Harvey Ellis Williams of Washington County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his conviction of the crime of grand larceny in 1982 in Washington County, Mississippi, and who was sentenced to serve forty-eight (48) months' probation.  His probation was terminated on May 16, 1986.  Since that time he has conducted himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
