AN ACT TO DIRECT THE COMMISSION ON WILDLIFE, FISHERIES AND PARKS TO CONDUCT A STUDY ON HUNTING ENCLOSURES OF NATIVE GAME AND TO REPORT TO THE LEGISLATURE BY A DATE CERTAIN; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Commission on Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks is directed to conduct a study on hunting enclosures of native game and to report to the Legislature on or before January 2, 2003.  The report shall include the following:  public policy considerations, proposed regulations, fencing restrictions, size, designs, enforcement of game laws, wildlife management practices, potential disease problems, impact of restricted egress and ingress of native game in the area and any other factors the commission deems necessary to the study.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
