AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE COMMISSION ON WILDLIFE, FISHERIES AND PARKS TO REGULATE HUNTING ENCLOSURES; TO AUTHORIZE THE DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE, FISHERIES AND PARKS TO ISSUE PERMITS FOR SUCH ENCLOSURES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The commission shall regulate hunting enclosures not otherwise regulated and shall promulgate regulations governing fencing requirements, size of enclosures, reporting requirements and permits. The department may issue permits for the erecting of hunting enclosures.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2002.
