AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE, FISHERIES & PARKS TO TRANSFER TO THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION CERTAIN REAL ESTATE LOCATED IN THE CITY OF JACKSON, HINDS COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Department of Wildlife, Fisheries & Parks is hereby authorized to transfer to the Department of Finance and Administration certain real property located in the City of Jackson, Hinds County, Mississippi, specifically described as follows:

     Beginning at a concrete monument 668 feet east and 26 feet south of the northwest corner of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of said Section 28; thence east, parallel to the north line of said Section 28 and 26 feet therefrom, 200 feet to an iron pin; thence south, parallel to the west line of said Section 28, and 868 feet distant therefrom, 700 feet to an iron pin; thence west, parallel to the north line of said Section 28, 200 feet to an iron pin; thence north 700 feet to the point of beginning; together with all of the improvements thereon and appurtenances thereunto belonging, Section 28, Township 6 North, Range l East.

     (2)  The Department of Finance and Administration shall assume all supervision, management, maintenance and control of the property described in subsection (1) of this section.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
