AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTION 20, CHAPTER 575, LAWS OF 1998, AS AMENDED BY SECTION 2, CHAPTER 375, LAWS OF 1999, AS AMENDED BY SECTION 2, CHAPTER 332, LAWS OF 2000, AS AMENDED BY SECTION 2, CHAPTER 375, LAWS OF 2001, TO REPEAL THE REPEALER ON THE APPOINTMENT OF COUNSEL FOR INDIGENTS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Section 20, Chapter 575, Laws of 1998, as amended by Section 2, Chapter 375, Laws of 1999, as amended by Section 2, Chapter 332, Laws of 2000, as amended by Section 2, Chapter 375, Laws of 2001, which deals with the appointment of counsel for indigents, is repealed.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
