A RESOLUTION COMMENDING JODY AND COLEY LITTLE BAILEY, JR., UPON OUTSTANDING COMMUNITY SERVICE, FARM BUREAU LEADERSHIP AND FARMING OPERATIONS.

     WHEREAS, Jody and Coley Little Bailey, Jr., of Coffeeville, Mississippi, have been recognized for their outstanding community service, Farm Bureau Leadership and Farming Operations; and

     WHEREAS, the Bailey's farmed 2400 acres of irrigated, nonirrigated and ultra-narrow row cotton with an average yield of 2.31 bales per acre for 2001; and

     WHEREAS, in 2001, the Bailey's were selected as the Farm Bureau Federation District IV Young Farmer and Rancher's Achievement Award Winner and the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation Young Farmer and Rancher Achievement Award winner; and

     WHEREAS, in addition, the Bailey's were second alternate to the American Farm Bureau Federation Farmer and Rancher Achievement National Winner; and

     WHEREAS, it is the policy of the House of Representatives to commend outstanding Mississippians such as the Baileys:

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby commend and congratulate Jody and Coley Little Bailey, Jr., upon being recognized for their outstanding community service, Farm Bureau Leadership and Farming Operations and extend our heartiest wishes for success in all their future endeavors.

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to Jody and Coley Little Bailey, Jr., and to members of the Capitol Press Corps.
