AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF LEFLORE COUNTY TO ALLOW CERTAIN CORPORATE ENTITIES TO SUBMIT THE NECESSARY PAPERWORK ASSOCIATED WITH A PREVIOUSLY GRANTED FREE PORT WAREHOUSE AD VALOREM TAX EXEMPTION; TO REQUIRE THAT THE SUBMISSION MUST BE MADE WITHIN A CERTAIN TIME PERIOD; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Leflore County is authorized, in their discretion, to allow any corporate entity, which is qualified for and has been granted a free port warehouse ad valorem tax exemption, to submit, within sixty (60) days of the effective date of this act, an inventory and any other required records necessary to implement the exemption for any tax period for which the entity has been granted an exemption.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
