AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS TO TRANSPORT INTOXICATED CITIZENS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. All state, municipal and county law enforcement officers are authorized to transport any person who believes he would be in violation of the Implied Consent Law if he attempted to operate a motor vehicle to his place of residence.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2002.
