AMEND by inserting the following new paragraph (44) after line 818:

"(44) Physician assistant services. Services furnished by a physician assistant who is licensed by the State Board of Medical Licensure and is practicing with physician supervision under regulations adopted by the board, under regulations adopted by the division. Reimbursement for those services shall not exceed ninety percent (90%) of the reimbursement rate for comparable services rendered by a physician. Payment shall be made to the employer of the physician assistant."

AMEND FURTHER the title by inserting the following after the semicolon on line 28: "TO PROVIDE THAT PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT SERVICES WILL BE REIMBURSABLE UNDER MEDICAID;"
