A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING RANDY E. GRAVES, JR., OF CLINTON, MISSISSIPPI, FOR ATTAINING THE ULTIMATE RANK OF EAGLE SCOUT.

WHEREAS, the leaders and Troop Committee Members of Boy Scout Troop 345 in Clinton, Mississippi, Andrew Jackson Council, have announced that Randy E. Graves, Jr., has been found worthy of the rank of Eagle Scout; and

WHEREAS, Randy completed all requirements for the Eagle rank, has been examined by an Eagle Scout Board of Review on December 10, 2000, and his Eagle Scout Ceremony and Reception will be held in February 2001 at Wildwood Baptist Church in Clinton, Mississippi, sponsor of Troop 345; and

WHEREAS, Randy, a native of Clinton, Mississippi, is 17 years of age, and attends Clinton High School; and

WHEREAS, it is with great pride that we commend this young Mississippian who has attained scouting's highest rank and in doing so, brings honor to his family, his school, his community and to the State of Mississippi:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING THEREIN, That we do hereby commend and congratulate Randy E. Graves, Jr., of Clinton, Mississippi, for his outstanding achievement in attaining the Eagle Scout rank, scouting's highest honor, and wish him continued success in his future scholastic and scouting endeavors.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be presented to Randy and to his family, and be made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
