AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HANCOCK COUNTY TO EXPEND FUNDS TO THE MISSISSIPPI CONTRACT PROCUREMENT CENTER FOR NOTIFICATION PURPOSES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Hancock County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may expend county funds from any available funds of the county in an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) during calendar year 2001, to the Mississippi Contract Procurement Center, for the purpose of assisting Hancock County by notifying interested contractors and businesses on projects and services for which the county is advertising.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
