AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF WASHINGTON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO CHRISTIANS UNITED IN LELAND, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Washington County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute to Christians United in Leland, Mississippi, an amount not to exceed Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00), from any available funds of the county, during the 2001 calendar year, which monies may be expended for the purpose of building and operating a community center in Leland, Mississippi.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
