AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HANCOCK COUNTY TO DONATE ANNUALLY TO SAVE OUR CHILDREN; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. (1) The Board of Supervisors of Hancock County, in its discretion, may donate annually out of any available funds of the county a sum not to exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) to Save Our Children, a nonprofit organization in Hancock County, Mississippi.

(2) This act shall stand repealed from and after July 1, 2003.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
