AN ACT TO CLARIFY THE AUTHORIZATION OF CERTAIN TIDELAND FUNDS APPROPRIATED TO JACKSON COUNTY FOR THE GRAVELINE BAYOU PROJECT AND TO PROVIDE THAT UNEXPENDED FUNDS MAY BE USED AS AUTHORIZED; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. It is the intention of the Legislature that the funds appropriated to the Jackson County Board of Supervisors for the "Graveline Bayou Extension Project" in House Bill No. 1722, 1998 Regular Session, and not yet expended on the project, may be used for building a jetty at the Graveline Bayou Extension Project.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
