AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO TONY RAY SMITH OF HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Tony Ray Smith of Harrison County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his conviction of burglary, general, in Harrison County, Mississippi, in 1979; his conviction of grand larceny in Harrison County, Mississippi, in 1982; his conviction of receiving stolen property in Harrison County, Mississippi, in 1982; and his conviction of burglary of a residence in Harrison County, Mississippi, in 1985; and who has completed the penalty and any conditions imposed upon him for such convictions. The Legislature has been reliably informed that he is now conducting himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
