Further amend line 55 by striking "One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)" and insert in lieu thereof "Fifty Dollars ($50.00)"
Further amend by placing the following after line 58:
(6) A violation of this section shall not be entered on the driving record of a person convicted of such violation, nor shall any state assessment provided for by Section 99-19-73, or any other state law, be imposed or collected.
(7) No motor vehicle may be stopped for a violation of this section unless an open container is visually observed in such motor vehicle.
Further amend line 59 by striking "subsection (1) of this section" and insert in lieu thereof "Section 1 of this act"
Further amend line 65 by striking July 1, 2000, and inserting in lieu thereof the following:
September 1, 2000, and shall stand repealed from and after September 1, 2003.
