REPORT OF CONFERENCE COMMITTEE

MR. PRESIDENT AND MR. SPEAKER:

We, the undersigned conferees, have had under consideration the amendments to the following entitled BILL:

S. B. No. 3287: Appropriation; Funeral Services Bd.

We, therefore, respectfully submit the following report and recommendation:

 

1. That the House recede from its Amendment No. 1.

2. That the Senate and House adopt the following amendment:

 

Amend as follows:

Line 10: Delete $156,624.00; insert $177,128.00

Line 17: Delete $87,474.00; insert $87,978.00

Line 19: Delete $49,150.00; insert $69,150.00

Line 25: Delete $156,624.00; insert $177,128.00

Amend further by inserting a new Section 3 and renumbering subsequent sections, said new section to read as follows:

SECTION 3. In addition to all other sums heretofore appropriated, the following sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury to the credit of the State Board of Funeral Services, for the purpose of defraying the expenses of said Board for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2000...................$ 5,000.00.

Amend further by changing the period at the end of line 65 to a comma and inserting the following: "except that Section 3 shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage."

Further, amend the title to read as follows:

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF SPECIAL FUNDS IN THE STATE

TREASURY TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES OF THE STATE BOARD OF FUNERAL SERVICES FOR FISCAL YEARS 2000 AND 2001.
