REPORT OF CONFERENCE COMMITTEE
MR. PRESIDENT AND MR. SPEAKER:
We, the undersigned conferees, have had under consideration the amendments to the following entitled BILL:
S. B. No. 3269: Appropriation; Alcorn State-Agricultural Programs.
We, therefore, respectfully submit the following report and recommendation:
1. That the House recede from its Amendment No. 1.
2. That the Senate and House adopt the following amendment:
Amend as follows:
Line 10: Delete $ 5,290,751.00; insert $ 5,468,257.00
Line 16: Delete $ 1,073,755.00; insert $ 1,523,755.00
Insert new Section 8 and renumber subsequent sections, said section to read as follows:
SECTION 8. It is the intention of the Legislature that of the funds appropriated under the provisions of this act, Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($600,000.00) shall be allocated to initiate the operations of the Alcorn State University - Agribusiness and Natural Resources Development Center.
