REPORT OF CONFERENCE COMMITTEE
MR. PRESIDENT AND MR. SPEAKER:
We, the undersigned conferees, have had under consideration the amendments to the following entitled BILL:
S. B. No. 2598: Marine resources; authorize DMR to remove derelict vessels from manmade canal connected to coastal wetlands.
We, therefore, respectfully submit the following report and recommendation:
1. That the Senate concur in House Amendment No. 1 with the following exception(s):
AMEND by inserting the following section after line 105 and renumbering the succeeding section accordingly
:
SECTION 3. Section 49-15-13, Mississippi Code of 1972, which authorizes the Department of Marine Resources to remove derelict vessels from coastal wetlands, is repealed.
