AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF ATTALA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO COMPENSATE COUNTY PATROL OFFICERS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,000 PER MONTH; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 45-7-3, the Board of Supervisors of Attala County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to compensate a county patrol officer in an amount not to exceed Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) per month.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
