AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE HINDS COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO REIMBURSE DENISE MCFALL FOR CERTAIN ERRONEOUSLY PAID AD VALOREM TAXES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Hinds County, Mississippi, is authorized, in its discretion, to pay to Denise McFall, an amount not to exceed Nine Hundred Forty-two Dollars and Forty-seven Cents ($942.47) as reimbursement for ad valorem taxes erroneously paid by Denise McFall to Hinds County for the tax year 1997.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
