AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI TO CONTRIBUTE ANNUALLY TO THE OXFORD-LAFAYETTE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION OR TO ANY OTHER CORPORATION, FOUNDATION, ORGANIZATION, ASSOCIATION OR GROUPS, FOR THE NEXT FOUR COUNTY FISCAL YEARS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Lafayette County, Mississippi, may contribute annually to the Oxford-Lafayette County Economic Development Foundation or to any other corporation, foundation, organization, association or groups, out of any available municipal funds, an amount not to exceed One Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($125,000.00) in each of the following fiscal years: the fiscal year ending September 30, 2001, the fiscal year ending September 30, 2002, the fiscal year ending September 30, 2003 and the fiscal year ending September 30, 2004.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
