AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE STATE AGENCIES TO PURCHASE CONTRACTS FOR AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. All agencies as defined in Section 31-7-1, Mississippi Code of 1972, are authorized to purchase contracts for automobile insurance.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2000.
