AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTION 25-1-85, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, WHICH PRESCRIBES THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PASSENGER VEHICLES THAT CERTAIN STATE AGENCIES, DEPARTMENTS AND INSTITUTIONS MAY PURCHASE, OWN AND OPERATE, AND WHICH PLACES RESTRICTIONS ON THE TYPES OF NEW PASSENGER VEHICLES AND CERTAIN FEATURES AND OPTIONS THAT MAY BE INCLUDED ON SUCH VEHICLES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. Section 25-1-85, Mississippi Code of 1972, which prescribes the maximum number of passenger vehicles that certain state agencies, departments and institutions may purchase, own and operate, and which places restrictions on the types of new passenger vehicles and certain features and options that may be included on such vehicles, is repealed.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
