AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY PATROL OFFICERS OF LAUDERDALE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO ISSUE CITATIONS FOR VIOLATION OF A CERTAIN COUNTY ORDINANCE THAT REGULATES AND CONTROLS THE MANAGEMENT OF CERTAIN SOLID WASTE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. County patrol officers employed by the Board of Supervisors of Lauderdale County, Mississippi, are authorized and empowered to issue citations for violations of an ordinance adopted by the Board of Supervisors of Lauderdale County, Mississippi, on January 6, 1975, and amended on June 3, 1996, entitled "An Ordinance to Regulate and Control the Management and Disposal of Solid Waste as Generated by the General Public, Business Institutions, and Industry in the County of Lauderdale."

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
