House Bill 1715

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TALLAHATCHIE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO DESIGNATE THE JUDICIAL DISTRICT OR DISTRICTS IN WHICH REGULAR, SPECIAL AND ADJOURNED MEETINGS OF THE BOARD SHALL BE HELD; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 19-3-13, Mississippi Code of 1972, the Board of Supervisors of Tallahatchie County, Mississippi, in its discretion, by order duly adopted and spread upon its minutes, which order may be amended by the board from time to time, may elect to hold regular meetings of the board of supervisors in either the first judicial district or the second judicial district, and may determine the day or days of the week upon which such regular meetings shall be held. Special meetings and adjourned meetings of the board may be held in the same judicial district in which regular meetings are held or in the other judicial district of the county, as determined by order of the board.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
