AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF TUNICA, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE TUNICA COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Tunica, Mississippi, in their discretion, is authorized to contribute moneys from any available funds in an amount not to exceed the aggregate sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) during the calendar year 2000, to the Tunica County Chamber of Commerce.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
