AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF OCEAN SPRINGS TO DONATE A CERTAIN SUM OF MONEY TO THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB AND THE YMCA IN JACKSON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, are authorized, in their discretion, to contribute to the Boys and Girls Club and the YMCA in Jackson County, Mississippi, from any available funds, an amount not to exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) during calendar year 2000.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
