AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF OXFORD, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE OXFORD-LAFAYETTE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Oxford, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute to the Oxford-Lafayette County Economic Development Foundation to support industrial development, out of any available municipal funds, an amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) during the calendar year 2000.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
